SUNY Plattsburgh and My Bucket List

Well, it almost happened last week. I ALMOST achieved one of my life’s goals: to visit Canada. I’ve been to Central America, I’ve been to the Mediterranean, but the land of the Canuck remains elusive.

Last Thursday, I came the closest I’ve ever been when I presented Girls Fight Back! at SUNY Plattsburgh. The city is outside beautiful (and surprisingly un-snowy) Adirondack Park, just about 60 miles south of Montreal. SO close.

American soil notwithstanding, the event was fantastic. A BIG thank you goes out to Kelsey for all the planning and effort she put into a great event. I’d also like to thank my scary bad guys – all four of them. Dave, Mike, Roger, Eric: you guys were the best. Seriously.

Stay tuned for more of my (domestic) travel adventures. Up next: St. Louis/Imo’s Pizza, here I come.
